New Pics 2: Electric Bugaloo

I call this one the Mexican Wedding Apron. I'm not sure what the name of the fabric is, but that seems fitting.

I found it more interesting to take the bride and groom (their image is repeated all over the fabric) and break them up across the pockets. Also on this apron are singers, floating psuedo Day of the Dead skulls, and giant detailed flowers. I used a deep yellow for the ruffle, and even though you can't see them very well, black ties.

New and Better Pics

I took some better pics of the aprons I had leftover from the MECA Holiday Art Sale. I was experimenting with finding the best spot to take them.

I think they look cute in front of the stove. I have learned the following: make sure that everything is ironed and use the lint roller.

This is the Fruity Worm Apron. I love the print (apples and pears in a cross-section). I was experimenting with different shaped pockets, and these are perfect circles (for size reference, I traced a CD to get the shape). The frilly trim and worm applique going across pockets are what really does it for me!

I think this is going to have to be broken up into different posts due to size....
